Survival

The Britannica Dictionary definition of survival is, "The state or fact of continuing to live or exist especially in spite of difficult conditions."

The conditions are certainly difficult on the streets.

Light in my City has been very busy this summer helping to meet survival needs of our homeless Pittsburgh neighbors. Many LuminAID lanterns, FosPower emergency hand-crank radios, tents, sleeping bags, water, socks, and other helpful survival items have been distributed. Light in my City is grateful to play a small part in making the lives of these human beings a little bit better.
